Curriculum
At Delamere, they have been reviewing the curriculum we offer in light of the new changes and the emphasis on Intent, Implementation and Impact. These 3i’s will underpin the curriculum They offer a rich full and varied curriculum that is tailored to meet the needs of each individual child. All children learn through topics, and information on these can be found in the class sections of the website. Within these topics we teach skills and knowledge and vocabulary and make as many cross-curricular links as possible.We teach a rich, full and varied curriculum. They initially identified that, due to school closure , some children have gaps in their learning. As a school they are continuing to work hard to fill those gaps with good quality first teaching, focussed interventions and direct support they cludint turouring. Pre and After School Care
At the start of the new academic year in September, we are pleased to inform you of a new and improved way to book your child/children into Delamere Academy’s Wrap Around Care provision (WAC). This will allow you, as the primary guardian, to be in full control of their bookings through your own personal Arbour login.To begin with, before you can book your child onto any WAC session your WAC account MUST be in credit. To do this, log onto your Arbour account, and on your home page under accounts, click on WAC. Then, click on the big green button (top right) called ‘Top up account’, and follow the card payment instructions. Once you have a credit balance you can proceed to book as many WAC sessions as you like. To do this, on the homepage of Arbour, under ‘Activities’ click on clubs. Below are the different internal start times and finish times available, which you can choose from when making your booking, along with the cost.
