The Hampshire School Chelsea is a leading co-educational, independent day school for pupils aged 3 to 13 years located in the heart of Chelsea, London. Pre-Prep
In Pre-Prep, pupils at The Hampshire School Chelsea build on their academic, arts, sports and social skills with our tailored all-round curriculum. Their class teacher facilitates the differentiated learning for the core subjects so that all can achieve their full potential within a safe and inspiring environment.The five school Core Values of Community, Resilience, Excellence, Responsibility and Respect enhance academic and pastoral care and enable the pupils to take ownership of their learning. Specialist teachers for PE, sport, dancing, art, music, drama, French and ICT enhance the pupil’s daily learning. Many lessons at Pre-Prep level include hands-on and enquiry-based learning. Pupils are encouraged and praised as they master new and more complex concepts.
Prep School
In the Prep school, our pupils build on their academic and holistic achievements from their time in Pre-Prep. They are further encouraged to take ownership of their learning and strive for excellence throughout the curriculum to help them prepare for their destination schools at the end of Year 6.Specialist teaching in all curriculum areas, is designed to support as well as challenge all pupils to achieve their aspirations, promote high academic standards and enable them to become successful and confident adolescents who share a passion and enjoyment for learning.
