Within the lessons we strive to teach the students responsibility, resilience and leadership skills, and challenge each of them to give their all, with all they have.
Music
The Music Department is an extremely happy, vibrant and busy place, with both full and part time members of staff and peripatetic teachers who ensure that music remains an important and ever-present part of life.Music is taught throughout the school, becoming an optional choice at GCSE and A level alongside the other creative arts. Beyond the classroom all pupils have the opportunity to join instrumental ensembles and choirs.

Art is taught throughout the school and aims at developing and inspiring skills to express what the students see and understand of the world around them. The walls around the school are decorated with artwork from both past and present pupils. Art is an optional popular choice at both GCSE and A level.
