12. Crystal Palace DinosaursThe Dinosaurs are one of the park’s most famous attractions, unveiled in 1854 and continuing to delight children and adults over 150 years later. They are amongst approximately 30 statues, including amphibians, reptiles and mammals, located on islands within the lakes at the Penge side of the park. They are free to visit.

13. Chelsea in Bloom 2025 - Flowers in Fashion

Design a character with your own superpower, and turn it into a wearable costume. In this workshop, you will get to meet a special guest artist, Ahmed Raafat, the creator of graphic novel, “El-Osba”, to find out how he takes inspirations from his Egyptian heritage to create new superhero stories. You will have a go at designing your own superhero character through a collaborative drawing activity. You will then turn it into a wearable costume using a range of materials with the help of artist and museum staff Ellie Bird.
