The farm provides education, training, and therapeutic activities for people in the local community.   • Therapeutic Gardening: Gardening activities in polytunnels, orchards, flower beds, and raised vegetable beds. Produce is used in the café or made into bouquets for sale. Activities range from seated seed sowing and potting to heavier tasks like weeding and turning compost.

    • After School Club – Thursdays, 4.00–5.30 pm, ages 5–11, free, adventures across 37 acres, activities include looking after animals, cooking, planting seeds, climbing trees, and more. Funded by BBC Children in Need.
    • Saturday Club – Saturdays, 10.00–12.00 pm, ages 5–11, £12 per session, bookable by school terms. Activities include treasure hunts, woodland adventures, den-building, animal feeding, craft, games, and more.
    • Farm Hands – Youth Volunteering – Tuesdays, 4.00–5.30 pm, ages 11–16, free, caring for farm animals, gardening, supporting farm events, and growing vegetables.
  • FREE 6-Week AQA Program for Young People: Thursdays for ages 16–25, local to Twerton, Whiteway, and Southdown, free. Gain recognised accredited awards in animal care or similar areas.
  • Wild Acres: Bespoke alternative provision for children and young people, focusing on building trust, emotional regulation, key skills, self-esteem, and positive future attitudes. Supports participants from reception age up to 18 facing social, emotional, health, or personal challenges.

    • Host your birthday party in indoor timber-framed room:

    • The room is a short walk from the car park, with toilets nearby in the main building.

  • Walking: The farm is a short stroll from the Two Tunnels Greenway, with footpaths connecting Twerton High Street and Bath City FC. Some paths can be uneven or muddy and are not recommended for pushchairs.

    • Take the No.5 First Group bus to Mount Road, walk down the hill and turn left into Kelston View, or
    • Take the bus to Whiteway Circle, walk down North Way, and turn right for the farm.
  • By Train: The nearest station is Oldfield Park. Trains from Bath Spa to Bristol stop here. From the station, it’s a 20-minute walk. For live travel updates, visit National Rail.
  • By Bike: Secure bike stands are available at the farm. The farm is a 5-minute cycle from the Two Tunnels cycle path.
  • By Car: Visitors are encouraged to walk, cycle, or use public transport where possible. A small car park is available but can fill quickly. Please be considerate when parking on surrounding streets.
