Bath Parks & Abbeys Treasure Hunt Trail is a self-guided outdoor adventure that turns the historic city of Bath into an exciting spy-themed mission. It blends sightseeing, storytelling, and puzzle-solving while leading you through Bath’s famous parks, gardens, and landmarks. The Trail is designed for families, friends, and visitors aged 6–106, and can be completed at your own pace.
The themed experience, “The Sweet Spy Mystery – Can YOU Save Bath’s Prized Cakes?”, follows a fictional spy story involving Dr Ivor Super-Sweet-Tooth. It is a 1.78-mile circular walking Trail that takes around 2.5 hours, guiding you through Bath Abbey, Georgian streets, parks, and gardens, with clues hidden on permanent features along the route. Features include a self-guided spy mission, a text message clue service if you get stuck, and entry into a £100 monthly prize draw once the mission is solved.
The Treasure Hunt Trail costs £9.99 per Trail, which covers one group taking part together. The same Trail can also be used for birthday parties, working best in small teams of around 4–5 people, with adult support recommended for younger children.
