DangerPoint is an independent charity based on the North Wales Coast. An award winning interactive visitor centre open during school term time for schools and organised groups and during local school holidays for a fantastic family day out.
The Centre offers visitors the opportunity to learn about safety – but not in the way you might think. The Centre is full of fun and interactive activities to keep everyone entertained throughout a visit.
Designed like a film set, visitors journey from the home to the beach, countryside, playground, farm & other settings, DangerPoint offers a safe environment where visitors learn about risks and how to keep safe whilst, most importantly, having fun.

Danger Detective Quest: On your visit, you will become a Danger Detective seeking out the dangers you could come across every day and collecting clues to complete the Quest. As part of the Danger Detective Quest, you will have an activity booklet which will guide you through the centre and has lots of different activities in to complete your quest. There is lots to do in the centre – clues to find, games to play, videos to watch and interactive activities to get involved with. Designed like a film set, you will follow the indoor trail on a journey from home to beach, countryside and playground, and other realistic settings to learn about safety in a fun way.
Craftpoint: CraftPoint offers fun for all the family! Join for a fun filled crafty day out to create your very own masterpiece to take home! Pick your own pottery to paint and decorate or a craft item to create!They have lots of different ceramic money boxes, paint pots or bird feeders to choose from and new for 2021 they have Build-a-Bear with lots of different animals to choose from!
Schools: As a safety education centre, DangerPoint offers schools the opportunity to visit the Centre and take a structured guided tour around the life-like scenarios. The Centre has been designed to link in with the current curriculum, PSE curriculum, Healthy Schools Programme and fits in with the Estyn Common Inspection Framework.
Organised Groups: As well as offering educational visits, we are also able to offer a number of lifeskills programmes and self-led activity programmes.The lifeskills programmes have been developed to offer support and advice and can be tailored to suit the age or needs of your group.
