Discover Diving is the Isle of Man’s only scuba and snorkel dive centre, offering expert training, equipment, and guided experiences. Open on Saturdays and by arrangement, it’s the perfect place to learn new skills or explore the underwater world. The centre also stocks a wide range of diving and snorkelling gear, with fitting and servicing available.

Families and individuals can join Snorkel Safaris to meet local marine life, take part in Beach Ranger sessions exploring rockpools, or progress through snorkel and dive training from beginner to instructor level. Regular boat trips add extra excitement, with the chance to spot seals or visit Sugarloaf caves.

Prices include a charter rate of £720 per day (with cylinders and weights) and accommodation in the divers’ flat at £25 per person per night.

Snorkel Safaris: Snorkel Safaris are a great way to get into exploring the marine life around the Isle of Man. The clear waters have an amazing variety of creatures waiting for your visit. Swim through seaweed gardens, spot Wrasse out hunting and look under the rocks for crabs and lobsters. We provide some spotter guides to help you identify what you've seen. Sessions are usually run from the shore, but after you have a bit of experience you can travel further out on one of our boat trips, and maybe visit the Sugarloaf caves or play with the seals.
Beach Ranger: Come and meet some wonderful marine life- without even getting wet! Beach Ranger sessions are a fabulous family activity in which you will get to explore some of the creatures that live in rockpools and on the sandy beach. Learn about the tough conditions and how they manage to survive anything the Irish Sea can throw at them. Discover Diving is lucky enough to be situated right next to a great shore, with a sandy beach and lots of rock pools. Meet your team leader at the dive centre and then it's just a short walk to Chapel Beach.
Dive Training: At Discover Diving we have years of experience at teaching people to snorkel and dive. We have an excellent safety record and a great team of instructors and assistants who will do their best to help you gain the skills and knowledge to take you on your underwater adventures. No matter how much diving you have done, there's always more to learn. We offer a full range of snorkel and dive training right up to technical diving and instructor qualifications.
