Five Sisters Zoo in the UK is a wildlife attraction with over 160 species from around the world. It offers a fun day out for all ages just 25 minutes west of Edinburgh. Open all year (except Christmas Day and 1st January), it’s a great place for families and animal lovers.

Visitors can meet Scotland’s only Cheetah, rescued brown bears, and explore the Lost Kingdom indoor reptile house. There’s an on-site restaurant, outdoor play park, indoor soft play, and gift shop. The zoo also offers hands-on animal experiences like keeper sessions with meerkats, lemurs, and reptiles.

Adult tickets cost £20.95, children (3-15 yrs) £15.50, concessions £18.95, and a family ticket (2 adults + 2 kids) is £61.00. Birthday parties cost £14.95 per child (10–25 children) including play session, party room and food box.

Animal Experiences: Five Sisters Zoo offers a variety of animal experiences including keeper experiences, animal handling, and behind-the-scenes activities with species like meerkats, lemurs, and reptiles. These experiences are designed to be interactive, educational, and suitable for different age groups.
Leaping lemurs: The fun-tastic soft play area has been specially designed for the zoo with a colourful animal theme in mind!
Children's Rides: We have several small childrens rides near our outdoor play park. This includes a small safari train, swinging pirate ship and childrens go-kart track.
Lost Kingdom Reptile House: The Lost Kingdom is home to dozens of different tropical species including dwarf crocodiles, blood pythons and beaded lizards. This undercover tropical house is the perfect place to head if the weather takes a turn during your visit.

Food & Drinks: They have several small food trucks, cafe and stands located in the centre of the zoo.
Picnic Areas: Marquee space is perfect for those bringing a picnic or using some of our smaller outdoor food outlets.

Parties must include between 10-25 children. The cost per child is £14.95, this includes the play session, a private party room and a delicious food box (Cheese or ham sandwich, yoghurt, crisps, apple, small chocolate bar, gummy sweets and juice). A small buffet can be provided for adults for an additional cost.
