  • Potter’s Wheel Taster: Discover the magic of the potter’s wheel on this fun and immersive workshop. Designed for complete beginners (ages 7+), this hands-on experience lets you explore the art of throwing with expert guidance. Whether you come solo, as a couple, or with a group, you’re guaranteed a creative and memorable time! On arrival at our Studio, you’ll be warmly welcomed as you join the rest of the group. The workshop begins with a full demonstration by one of our expert potters, who will guide you through the five basic steps of throwing a pot. Then, it's your turn to get hands-on! With your own potter’s wheel, you’ll shape clay under the guidance of an experienced tutor, who will be on hand throughout, offering practical tips and guidance as needed. 
  • Botanical Plaster Cast: Immerse yourself in a creative & meditative experience as you craft your own botanical plaster cast using fresh flowers & foliage. Perfect for all skill levels. The workshop begins with a relaxed, step-by-step demonstration, where you’ll learn how to prepare and roll out clay to form the base for your artwork. Next, you’ll be guided on arranging flowers and foliage on the clay’s surface, pressing them in to best capture all their delicate textures and details. Feel free to bring blooms from your own garden for a personal touch.
  • Potter’s Wheel Half Day: Discover the satisfaction of creating pottery on the wheel on this immersive & relaxing workshop. Perfect for complete beginners (ages 12+), this hands-on experience offers a chance to unwind & explore the craft at your own pace. After a warm welcome, you'll watch a demonstration from one of our expert potters. Your instructor will then guide you step by step as you get comfortable handling the clay. Once you’ve found your rhythm, you can enjoy the therapeutic process of throwing at your own pace, with as much or as little tuition as needed. 
  • Gluggle Jug Workshop: On this fabulous workshop you’ll use a variety of hand-building techniques to craft your own characterful Gluggle Jug! Taught by Dave Short, finalist on The Great Pottery Throw Down 2024, this unique session is the perfect chance to learn from an expert while getting creative with clay. After a warm welcome, Dave will demonstrate how to construct a gluggle jug using slab and coil techniques, guiding you through each step of the process. Once you've got the basics, it’s your turn to get hands-on, shaping and personalising your jug with texture, detail, and even a splash of colour. Dave will be on hand throughout, offering tips and advice as you work.
