Outdoor Discovery is "driven by smiles" and that's exactly what we have successfully been doing for 27 years in Aviemore and the Cairngorm National park. Offer fun activities at numerous locations in the Aviemore and Cairngorm area and our main Outdoor Discovery Park is in the grounds of the Coylumbridge Hotel, at Coylumbridge, Aviemore.

At Outdoor Discovery they offer activities and fun for everyone. They have Superjumpers, Climbing Walls, Dry Ski, Quad Bikes, LaserQuest, Surf Simulator, River Assault, High Ropes, Big Air, Bike Hire, Ski and Snowboard hire,a skate park and much much more. Big Air: Is one of our newest attractions, we harness you to elastic cords which are attached to 12 m poles before releasing you to be fired 14 metres in the air.
Junior quads Bike hire: Junior quads are easy to manage, fully automatic with no gears or clutch to get in the way of getting round the courses!
Superjumper: Securely and safely harnessed to our equipment have a fantastic experience jumping to heights in excess of 8 metres. Our superjumpers are group together in 4's so why not get together and see who can jump the highest.
River Assault: River Assault with Outdoor Discovery is one of our activities that takes place at Loch Morlich on which is a beautiful lochside watersports centre. Supervised by our fully trained staff River Assault can only be described as 'the most fun you will ever have on a lilo'
Dry Ski Slopes: Two dry ski slopes at both Outdoor Discovery Aviemore Centre and Outdoor Discovery Coylumbridge. Our 51 metre dry ski slope at Outdoor Discovery Aviemore Centre has a rope tow and gives you the realistic feeling of being on the slopes, and is perfect for lessons and practice before heading for the slopes on the mountains.
Ski & Snowboarding: Aviemore Ski School and School of Snowsports in Aviemore offer the largest and latest new equipment for the snow season in the Cairngorm area. We have been providing an excellent service here for over 20 years and we will bring you, what we believe to be, the best winter sports experience available in the Highlands.
Bike Hire: Whether its full on mountain biking or a gentle family run to Loch Morlich you are looking for – let us know what you fancy doing and we will guide you on the right road.
Climbing Walls: There are 4 different grades of climbs on the main wall so this can be as challenging as you like - you simply pick a colour to choose a route.
Quasar: Is a great activity for all ages, mums and dads, kids and grandparents everyone can take part in this adventure. Two teams battle it out in the dark in our giant inflatable Laser Zone sphere you are kitted out with helmets, guns and body shields which will add up your score to find an eventual winner. Please note we are not responsible for any arguments once you find out who has been targeting you the most!
High Rope: High rope activity is operated by Outdoor Discovery and is based at Badaguish a short drive away from Aviemore centre. Our challenging course is exhilarating and fun and is suitable for all ages and ability.
Surf Simulator: Is the latest in fun and competitive ride on's for people of all ages and can be enjoyed by all the family. Stand upright on a surf board which is then simulated so you actually feel you are riding on waves and see how long you can stay upright for! Remember, the wave sensation may get faster the longer you stay on.
Ice Skating: One of the exciting additions at the Outdoor Discovery Coylumbridge park is the winter ice skating at our own rink or during the summer months the rink doubles up as a rollerskating rink.
Grass Sledging: Think sledging is only available in the winter when there is snow. Think again because grass sledging is just as much fun as sledging in the snow. Available for all ages, with helmets supplied this activity is great fun for everyone.
