The Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum is housed within a grade II listed historic building, which was built in the early 1840s as the Gloucester Customs House.  It is a beautiful building with some very unique spaces hidden inside: some of which are now available to hire.

  • The Regimental Boardroom – Located on the upper floor of the museum building this room has real character, and is the perfect location for a meeting or function. The Regimental boardroom can accommodate up to 20 people (in a boardroom layout), or 30 people (in a lecture style layout). The Boardroom is now fully accessible as we now have brand new stair lifts connecting the upper floors.
  • The Museum Building – The venue as a whole is now available for hire outside core museum hours (after 5pm, 7 days a week). Why not hire the entire building for a family party, or perhaps a corporate event, allowing you to invite your guests and enjoy the entire museum to yourselves.
