Description
Bude Segway & outdoor pursuits, was started back in 2016 by owner, Wayne. During the first year We operated ​groups of 5 people over at Tamar trails, Nr Tavistock. Wayne then decided to move the business to Bude in Feb 2017. Here We operated at the Weir and increased our capacity to 8 by purchasing more Segways. The Segways quickly became a popular activity in the area and during summer months, Wayne would operate 7 days a week maximising the amount of tours offered to the public. The decision was made in 2020 to move to our new site at Wooda Farm, where we quickly expanded the business by adding more Segways (having a total of 15) a climbing wall, mobile cave, surf hire & axe throwing. Bude Segway & outdoor pursuits now operates all year and has 4 members of staff who run the centre to its full potential.

Once you have completed your training and the instructor is confident you have mastered the controls of the Segway, You will be taken around the beautiful site on a breath taking scenic tour. With views of the coast, Valleys, rolling hills, stunning Cornish countryside and some woodlands.. Smiles all the way around as you glide along effortlessly on a thrilling 2 wheeled adventure! we have over 100 acres to explore and each session/tour is different and tailored to suit the group. All of our Scenic tours last between 45-60 mins depending on groups.

Ever fancied yourself as an axe throwing Viking? .... Of course you have! Bring out the ancient warrior in you and have a go at launching an axe at a target. Is this a valuable life skill?... Nope!.... Will you have an absolute blast?... 100%! You will be taught the art of sending an axe hurling towards your target! Its not as easy as it sounds...
