The Barn Indoor Climbing Wall is a friendly, social, and dedicated indoor climbing facility run by climbers, for climbers and anyone keen to give it a go. The centre features a well-equipped bouldering section suitable for beginners, with up to 100 bouldering problems across a variety of terrain. Each side of the boulder offers a unique climbing experience, including vertical walls, slabs, grooves, small ledges, steep overhangs, and a deep roof section, with all problems finishing at the top perfect for practicing topping out.

Daily entry deals are available at £7.50 for juniors (16 and under) and £9.50 for adults. For beginners, taster sessions are available at £22.50 per person, providing a fun and supportive introduction to climbing. More structured learning is offered through the Beginners Course (£60 per person), designed to teach essential rope and bouldering skills. Taster Session & Parties: This course is ideal for people who have no climbing experience, designed to be a fun session for the absolute beginner. Under the supervision of an experienced instructor, this session will take part in the top rope and bouldering areas of the barn.
Beginners Course: This course is designed for people who are new to the sport and want to learn the skills required to safely use the top rope and Bouldering areas of the wall.This course provides high quality instruction to teach the necessary skills needed to use the top rope and bouldering areas of the wall.
Adult & Youth Coaching:This climbing course is for Adults and Youth who require time with an experienced instructor, who can advise, teach and give personal coaching on any aspect of climbing you require. This course is both for beginners and experienced climbers alike and is completely tailored to your needs.
Barn Youth Climbing Club: The Barn Youth climbing club runs from 9.45am - 11.15am on both Saturday and Sunday. At The Barn they provide a scheme called NICAS. It is a national proficiency scheme that develops and accredits the skills of indoor climbing. For any one aged 12 or up, the scheme is a great way to improve and monitor your climbing development.
Parental Supervision: Each person you bring must be signed in to the Novice Book, which you will find a reception. For competent belayers, you may bring with you and supervise up to two novices. These novices may climb on the top rope area under your supervision, but no children under 5 years old please.
Top rope walls: The Barn's dedicated top rope area has seven top ropes and up to 45 routes. Routes on this wall start at French 2 and can be set as hard as French 7b, accommodating a range of climbers from the absolute beginner to the seasoned climber.
Leading walls: The lead wall is 9.5 meters high, but in the steepest section the actual length of climbs are up to 14 meters. Holding up to 70 routes on 13 individual lines, the grade of climbing varies from French 4 to French 8 a+ and are reset on a regular basis.
The Slackline Park: The Slackline park is a great place to take your first step or your thousandth.
