Suffolk Owl Sanctuary is a conservation-focused wildlife centre in Suffolk, home to over 70 owls and birds of prey. The sanctuary also houses other fascinating creatures such as meerkats, red squirrels, porcupines, ferrets, and armadillos. It’s a peaceful place for families to explore nature and learn about endangered species.

Visitors can enjoy unique animal encounters including owl flying experiences, armadillo interaction sessions, and porcupine feeding activities. Meerkat encounters offer a chance to get up close with “The Mob” and learn about their curious lives. There are also woodland walks and picnic areas for a relaxing day out.

Entry prices are £15.00 for adults, £11.25 for children aged 4–14, and free for children under 3. Concessions are £11.25, and a family ticket (for 5) is £54.00.

Armadillo Encounter: Spending time with these friendly dwellers of South American forests, grasslands and savannahs will provide a memorable opportunity to learn all about their lifestyles and characters. Embarking on your Armadillo Encounter in the company of an expert keeper you'll meet and engage with our endearing pair in their enclosure, and treat them to their favourite snacks.
Porcupine Encounter: You're invited to a unique encounter with these amazing animals and discover their fascinating and exceptionally curious characteristics. Accompanied by an expert keeper to answer all your questions, you'll be able to interact closely with friendly Anna and Elsa by taking photos, feeding them and observing their remarkable behaviour.
Meerkat Encounters: It’s great fun to take an up-close and personal walk on the wild side with The Mob during a Meerkats Encounter when you will spend time inside their enclosure discovering all about these fascinating creatures with one of our trained handlers.
