Tintern Old Station

Description

The Old Station has developed an excellent reputation as one of the area’s top visitor centres, with our recently refurbished railway carriages offering a host of local information and history, as well as an N-gauge model railway, an indoor children’s play area and a video presentation of the history of the Wye Valley Railway and the Circle of Legends.

Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the circular walking route through the beautiful meadows and along the river, enjoying stunning views of the Wye Valley. We are a dog friendly site and welcome dogs in the Tearooms as well as in our picnic area. We politely ask that all dogs are kept on a lead and that you clean up after your dog.

Entry to the Old Station, Tintern is free, but we do ask for a parking fee which comes back to the site for essential maintenance and upgrading. If you are looking for Best place for day out with kids and families then this is the perfect destination offering fun, adventure, and unforgettable memories for everyone.
