This has been adapted from a Qur'anic verse, which describes the results of strong lmaan as a tree with strong roots, healthy branches and flourishing fruits. The school endeavours to create tolerant individuals. They all aim to help your child respect and appreciate others, their cultural background, feelings, views and all capabilities in an Islamic perspective.We have high expectations of our pupils not only in academic excellence but also in standards of behaviour and character, both inside and outside school. They also hope to equip the pupils with skills to confidently accept the challenges of today's changing world.
Nursery
Welcome to Al-Ashraf Nursery. They endeavour to provide an education built around an Islamic ethos within a caring environment where all pupils are valued and cared for.It is our mission to help develop children to be responsible and upstanding citizens within the community. Children develop quickly in the early years, and they aim to do all that they can to help the children have the best possible start in life.Through the daily application of prophetic mannerism, morals and etiquettes, they enable children to develop amiable personalities, talents and abilities. Al-Ashraf Nursery is able to offer places for 3 to 4 year olds who are entitled to 15 hours of free funded nursery education. Funding is available for 2 year olds, and can be offered to families who are on a low income.
Safeguarding at Al-Ashraf Primary School
They take the safety of all of our children extremely seriously at Al-Ashraf. All the staff receive regular training throughout the year. We listen carefully to our children and ensure that they have the opportunity to express their emotions so they can be happy in school.Mrs K Panchbhaya (EYFS manager) is our Designated Safeguarding Lead and Mrs R Nanabawa (HLTA) is our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead. Mrs Jadwat is the Safeguarding governor and Moulana Abdullah AH Patel is the Chair of Governors.
