Things to note

  • While AASSG has a desire to see pupils participating in team and individual sporting activities, there is recognition that the lack of a playing field limits the possibilities on offer. However, the school makes use of the MYUK facilities based on Stratton Road and also uses the GL1 Leisure Centre for swimming and other activities.
  • In Arts and Crafts pupils will build on skills, techniques, knowledge and understanding. They will be encouraged to refine their work and challenge themselves creatively. Arts stimulates creativity and imagination which provides visual and sensory experiences, a unique way of understanding and responding to the world.
