25m indoor heated Swimming Pool has a shallow depth of 0.9m, a maximum depth of 2m and four lanes as well as changing facilities and a viewing area.
The Music School is purpose-built comprising a recital room, eight practise rooms, and a state-of-the-art music technology studio.
The Small Sports Hall is a superbly light and airy space, making it the perfect indoor facility. This facility is suitable for 5 a side Football, Netball, Gymnastics, Martial Arts, Indoor Athletics, Cricket, and Basketball as well as Children’s Parties.
Two-second generation sand-based Astroturf pitches are perfect for Hockey, 5 a side Football, 11 a side Football and general training.
There are six competition standard outdoor tennis courts available: four singles and two twins, all suitable for individual and group lessons.The courts are also available for Netball lessons, matches and competitions.

More than 70 activities take place each week covering a wide range of disciplines. Some are sporty, others arts, music or performance-related but there are alternative interesting and unusual activities that give students the opportunity to try something different, or develop a new skill.
For the music scholars and students in numerous choirs, orchestras and ensembles, Ardingly College offers the chance to perform with great professional musicians, while all have the opportunity to perform in an array of regular recitals.
Ardingly College Drama Department has a long and distinguished history of opening the subject to all. Ranging from the future stars who go on to achieve greatness at the National Youth Theatre, drama schools or even on the big screen, to those for whom drama builds confidence.
The Art Department is housed in a light and spacious wing of the College. It has a gallery area and two multi-purpose teaching spaces; a new state-of-the-art photographic studio and teaching room; a large scale printmaking and textile room; a brand new darkroom and double kiln room for ceramic works.
Sport at Ardingly plays a significant role in College life. Ardingly College has always enjoyed a rich and rewarding sports programme. They have a reputation for being successful in many sports but have particular prowess in hockey and football for both boys and girls.
Sporting ability, musical talent and artistic flair are realised under the guidance of the most skilled teachers so students can identify and develop their full potential. Some students go on to compete and achieve at the highest level.
To apply for a place at Ardingly College you have to complete online registration, with a non-refundable registration fee of £150. They will then contact you regarding entrance assessments and references. A completed registration places a child on the year group entry / waitlist. An interview with a member of the Senior Academic Team can only be arranged once a prospective student has registered with us and sat entrance assessments. Subject to acceptable admissions criteria, your child will be offered a place. To accept, a confirmation of entry deposit is required. The student will then be part of the transition programme, up until their start at Ardingly College.
SCHOLARSHIPS AT 11+ 13+ AND 16+: Ardingly College are pleased to be able to offer a number of scholarships and awards across different disciplines.
