Belgrave is an independent special school (for children from 6 – 16 years ) that meets the needs of pupils with SpLD (dyslexia) and associated issues.
Facilities
Belgrave School places strong emphasis upon the creative arts. Students enjoy painting, drawing, crafts, pottery, model making, cooking and animation. These practical subjects are closely linked to other subjects on the curriculum, with project work. Drama sessions present opportunities to develop confidence and social skills and are valuable for advancing speech and language techniques.
Children partake in regular sports activities on the Downs and also have weekly visits to sports centres. A variety of sports are regularly enjoyed including:
