Curriculum
Numeracy and Literacy form the basis of the daily timetable. Both of these subjects use a wide range of activities and teaching techniques to ensure the interest and enthusiasm of the children is maintained and with excellent results.In addition to Literacy and Numeracy the children enjoy Science, History, Geography, RE, Spanish, PSHE, Art, Design and Technology, PE, Games, Swimming, Music and Computing (ICT).
Pre School
Preschool’s safe environment helps develop your child personal, social and emotional development by allowing them to build their self-confidence and self-esteem, whilst learning to manage their feelings and form relationships with other children and adults. We recognise and embrace the importance of working in partnership with parents during this process and use ‘Tapestry’ as a means of communication and update.
Sport
Sport and physical exercise form an important part of the timetable at Cleve House School. Children take part in games and PE lessons with specialist games teachers throughout the year learning about football, rugby, tennis, kwik cricket, netball, rounders, athletics and ball skills. In addition to sports lessons children have a range of activities available through extra-curricular clubs, including Cross-Country.
