Bluebell School Ltd is Independent Secondary school in Not applicable for kids aged 5 to 19 (Gender - 5 to 19 )

They are a group of skilled and experienced school leaders and teachers of pupils with Special Educational Needs.  The expertise and roles have included leading and manag­ing outstanding SEMH, MLD, SLD and ASD schools, behaviour consultancy, reintegra­tion programme developmentand extensive multi-agency working. They feel passionately about providing the best education for pupils with complex social, emotional and mental health needs, autistic spectrum disorder and/or cognitive and learning difficulties.  They believe this can be achieved through a personalised and therapeutic approach.

Curriculum
For all Key Stages, Bluebell School has adapted the National Curriculum to focus on Social, Emotional, Physical and Intellectual development.  They believe strongly that well-being, security and self-esteem are essential building blocks for learning.  Independence, communication, concentration and positive behaviour are enhanced by short sessions, frequent reward times and a great deal of group discussion/self-evaluation.  All pupils are encouraged to attend individual therapeutically informed music, relaxation and hobby development sessions weekly, and receive direct therapy as required.

Bluebell School is a therapeutic community providing a holistic approach to the education and well-being of each child. The safe, therapeutic learning environment enables every pupil to engage, enjoy, grow and thrive.Cognitive behavioural therapy underpins the support provided for each child and is supplemented by exceptionally nurturing relationships between the staff and children. The relational model enables children to feel valued, to recognise their strengths, and provides help to express their thoughts and feelings positively through those healthy relationships. They recognise that every child’s needs are different and they believe that experiencing warmth, affection and consistency supports children’s trust in the adults around them and improves self-esteem.
