Primary
Peak Education Primary School is registered with The Department for Education to provide on roll placements for children aged 7 to 11. The unique blend of academic, outdoor adventurous and enrichment activities ensures that students with social, emotional and mental health challenges become resilient and effective learners who can then reintegrate into main stream settings.
Secondary
Peak Education is registered with the Department for Education to provide on roll placements for students aged 11 – 18. The unique blend of academic, vocational, enrichment and outdoor education ensure that students with social, emotional and mental health challenges become resilient and effective learners who have the skills to be positive members of society and the qualifications to seamlessly progress into further education, employment and training.
Post 16
Peak Education provides placements for post 16 students to continue their studies in our familiar environment. Students work towards their foundation qualifications, gain useful experience in the world of work and receive additional support to transition them into the workplace, further study and training.
Climbing
provides the opportunity to tap into the mind and body’s limitless potential, enabling students to challenge themselves further by completing increasingly complex routes. Even when a route is completed, climbers will continue to tackle more challenges with even greater difficulties.
Abseiling
An outdoor activity designed to challenge students and test their limits. All aspects of health and safety are covered including rope work to compliment climbing activities. This gives a sense of achievement and a boost to self confidence.
Sailing
This activity encourages teamwork, communication and shared accomplishment. Participants will learn and develop many skills including leadership, navigation, meteorology, cooking, trouble shooting and craft care along with rope and line work.
Kayaking
Individual kayaks that can be used on both canals and rivers. A challenging activity that usually offers a competitive edge due to the levels of independence involved. You will develop a range of paddling skills and health and safety awareness.
