The College can boast some impressive sports facilities, including a double sized sports hall, a 25 metre indoor pool, strength and conditioning suite, two floodlit astroturf hockey pitches, a superb 9-hole golf course and indoor performance centre, 10 football pitches and one of the most picturesque cricket grounds in the South of England. The tennis provision is particularly significant. They have own tennis centre with three indoor courts, two outdoor hard courts as well as six new outdoor clay tennis courts opened in Spring 2017.

With over 30 physical activities available, the College is able to foster a real ethos of participation. This breadth of experience provides pupils with an informed position from which they can decide which exploits they wish to continue pursuing in later life.
Music at Bradfield aims to play an invaluable role in the development of each and every pupil, enriching the lives of all who come to the College. They encourage and enthuse those of all abilities, with enjoyment and excellence at the heart of provision.
Alongside the many performance opportunities available to pupils studying Drama as an academic subject, there are many opportunities for pupils to become involved in Drama at Bradfield.
Art is a desirable and obvious option for pupils wishing to pursue ‘traditional’ creative careers, such as Fine Art related courses, Architecture or Design, as well as roles for the digital age including web designers, graphic designers, video producers, animation artists and game designers.
There are many clubs, societies and activities to get involved in ensuring that everyone will find a passion or interest worth pursuing during their time at the College. The College encourages a wide range of trips, both subject-based and co-curricular, which take place regularly throughout the year.
Admissions Interview – (20-30 minutes). This aims to understand how well your child will fit into Bradfield and what she or he will be able to contribute to the academic life of the College. They will also talk to your child about their other interests and skills.
Housemistress or Housemaster Interview – (20-30 minutes). This interview is designed to establish how well your child is suited to College life.
Candidates will participate in a problem solving challenge – (60 minutes). This challenge, which will be similar to those found in the TV show ‘The Crystal Maze’, will allow to assess applicants more broadly whilst providing a fun and engaging environment.
SIXTH FORM ENTRY: The main Assessment day will be at Bradfield on the second Saturday in November. For those candidates who are unable to attend in person they will be running remote exam sessions in October and early November. Candidates take exams in English and Mathematics. Successful candidates will then be invited for an online formal interview with two members of staff – one Pastoral and one Academic.
Fees
From the 2022/23 Michaelmas Term, the fees are:
Boarding: £14,055 per term (£42,165 annual fee)
Day: £11,244 per term (£33,732 annual fee)
Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded for achievement and potential either in a specific field or in a combination of fields. Alternatively, candidates may wish to be considered for their all-round ability, which would take into account their academic achievement as well as their aptitude in any combination of other disciplines.
