Camp Hill Education is an independent school that aims to provide the optimum environment for students’ self confidence and academic potential to flourish, whilst encouraging a strong sense of purpose and belonging. They strive to meet the individual academic needs of students, and to foster a welcoming school environment with a strong sense of community spirit.

Facilities

Pupils will be given the opportunity to go on a variety of educational and recreational visits and trips:

  • Library Visits- Birmingham City Centre Librabry
  • Museums- including The Transport Museum and Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery
  • Historical builduings-  including castle visits
  • Individual course related trips to be arranged by teachers
  • P.E related including specialist sporting visits such as golf, squash, swimming, cross country walks/runs, cycling, climbing, and leisure centre facilities
  • End of term trips will also be agreed by staff this may include go karting, bowling, theaters, cinemas and restaurant meal

Things to note

We will offer a range of extra-curricular activities which we believe will support our pupils become more disciplined and controlled as well as develop key skills need for the wider world.

Martial arts: Martial arts require intense mental and physical involvement. It also provides positive role models, clear directions and rules, and peer interaction.

Football: Pupils practice skills through drills, understand team work and strategy and end the sessions playing a game. Great fun for all. More extra-curricular activities to be announced!

Young Driver: We are now offering our pupils an opportunity to learn about Road safety, theoretical and PRACTICAL elements of driving in a safe and controlled environment with highly qualified instructors. KS5 pupils will also have an opportunity to work towards a UK Driving License. This of course will be subject to physical and mental fitness and also with parental consent.

Admission Details

Pupils may be referred for a place at Camp Hill Education.

Most referrals for a school place will be made by the Local Authority Exclusions Team via the permanent exclusion process or the Special Educational Needs Assessment and Review Service (SENAR).

We are able to support pupils with learning difficulties whom require tailored support to overcome their learning needs. We offer small class sizes with one to one support where necessary.

Many students prefer a calm and quiet learning environment and are not successful in busy mainstream settings. Camp Hill Education offers pupils a calm and private environment where they can feel relaxed and happy to come into school. Parents of children with learning difficulties may also contact the school directly to discuss a potential school placement.

Annual fees (day pupils): £24,000 to £24,500
