From DofE to Debating, Basketball to Baking and Korean to Cadet Force, extra curricular clubs and activities are a different way to learn and develop key skills, meet new people and thrive, often in a less formal and more relaxed atmosphere.
The extra-curricular activities they offer vary throughout the year and cover the broadest range of activities and interests. Students with a personal interest are encouraged to start a club and engage their peers with their specific interests.
At Cheney School they have a thorough programme to ensure a smooth transition for all students joining the school in Year 7. They also work with feeder primary schools to engage with local families with children in Year 5 and 6 so that the transition to secondary education is happy and well informed.
All admissions to the school are arranged by Oxfordshire County Council.
