Nursery:  Little Chepstow is a sessional nursery school offering either morning or afternoon school. We do not offer full days. Morning sessions run from 8.45am to 11.50am and afternoon sessions run from 1pm to 3.50pm.

Facilities

Located behind the houses on Lancaster Road, Chepstow House has excellent on-site facilities all on a ground floor level.

The nursery, which is attached to the main school, has its own designated outside areas, classrooms and playground.

Within the main school, the year group classrooms and subject specialism rooms lead off from the central corridor. They are well equipped with IT resources that enable interactive teaching on the classroom monitors, as well as laptops and iPads for individual, group and whole class work.

Play time, which happens daily at mid-morning and at lunch time, is accommodated for all year groups through the many outside spaces on site, including playgrounds, a garden, roof terrace and wild area.

These areas are also used for sport for the younger children. From year 3, the children go off site in order to accommodate full sized pitches or courts for the teaching of rugby, football, cricket, athletics, hockey and netball. Swimming takes place at Kensington Leisure Centre.

Chepstow House is able to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum through the specialist subject facilities of an art room, music room, a science lab, a gym and a hall. As well as whole class music lessons individual music rooms allow children to learn an instrument in school.

A large hall allows for whole school assemblies, dance and gymnastic performances and drama productions. It is also used as the break hall for snack and lunch times.
