Farnborough Hill is a Roman Catholic independent day school for 550 girls aged 11–18.
Facilities
Farnborough Hill's excellent facilities include a recently refurbished black box theatre seating 105, a black box studio performance and teaching space and the School Hall all with an extensive range of lighting and sound equipment. The Hall accommodates a large audience for popular musical productions.
Sixth formers are housed on the upper floors of Farnborough Hill's Grade One listed buildings in the 'flats', a series of study rooms for small groups of students where they work and spend their free time.
Sixth Form teaching takes place in the modern seminar rooms of the Sixth Form Suite in the Old House, which nevertheless retains the building's Victorian charm.
The Sixth Form have a lovely joint Lower and Upper Sixth space comprising comfy leather sofas and a large table for those who want to work in this space. A café style kitchen is adjacent to the Common Room and allows the students to make their own cappucinos and paninis.

Over 15 choirs, orchestras and chamber ensembles rehearse each week, providing girls with the opportunity to enjoy a range of musical experiences and to take part in a busy programme of internal and external performances.
At Farnborough Hill they strive for the highest standards of excellence and aim to draw out skills and talents in each and every pupil. The Drama Department holds to this ethos and enjoys the process of self-discovery with the pupils in all stages of their education.
Girls are assigned to one House for the duration of their school career. Each House is organised by a committee comprising of staff and pupils and is responsible for an inter-House activity for which House Points are awarded.
There are an enormous number of opportunities for pupils to take part in co-curricular sport at Farnborough Hill. There really is something for everyone from elite athletes and sports women to pupils who just want to do some exercise. Sports on offer include hockey, netball, cricket, football, badminton, swimming, rounders, athletics, cross-country, tennis, trampolining, gymnastics and basketball.
