Admission Details

The Entrance Examination is held at Salesian College in early January of the year of entry when boys are in Year 6. The test currently consists of multiple choice papers in Mathematics, Verbal Reasoning, English and a written task. Boys are admitted on the basis of this examination and a confidential reference from the Headteacher of your son's present school.

For boys who are abroad, they can arrange for the test to be taken in their current school. It is not the policy of the College to issue past papers; however, all prospective pupils will meet with one of the Deputy Headteachers to discuss the examination in detail. Students joining older year groups will sit separate assessments depending on the prospective year group usually in English and Mathematics.

Applications of interest should be made via the online registration facility. Any applications for years 8 - 11 should be accompanied by an email to the Admissions Secretary at the address below. Further additional information can be obtained by contacting the Admissions Secretary at [email protected].
