At Freshfield, they want the curriculum to be a place where children are inspired to learn and believe they can make a difference. They aim to provide a fully inclusive curriculum that allows all pupils to develop the knowledge and skills needed to feel empowered in all lessons and subjects as well as preparing them with the emotional resilience ready for the next stage of their education. Things to note

Field Days - Breakfast and After School Club
They recognise wraparound care as an essential part of the children’s experience at Freshfield Primary and our breakfast and after school club "Field Days" provides opportunities for them to have fun in a stimulating environment and to develop and learn whilst being safe and well cared for. To support parent's working arrangements we offer the following options: Breakfast Club from 7.30 am to 8.45 am at a cost of £5 per session, After School Club from 3.15 pm to 6.00 pm at a cost of £10 per session.  

SEND (Special Educational Needs & Disability)
Freshfield Primary Resourced Provision is set up to meet the complex learning needs of up to 10 children and up to 10 Early Years and Key Stage 1 children with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). By following the same vision and values as the mainstream school, the specialist provision aims to provide the highest quality education for every child in a safe and caring environment to support them in realising their full potential. The provision is a nurturing environment which is designed to allow children to follow their own interests and develop as competent and independent learners.  They recognise that each child has a great deal to offer and the planning supports their individuality, efforts and achievements.
