Key Stage 3 Curriculum Enrichment
For many students, the highlight of Year 7 is Enrichment Week in July, when they spend three nights under canvas in the Ashdown Forest. Year 7 Camp is one of those experiences that sticks with students and is often referenced when recalling their best times in the School. A range of outdoor and adventurous activities such as archery, climbing, potholing and air rifles provide the excitement and challenge at the end of a packed first year.
Key Stage 4 Curriculum Enrichment
Students in Year 10 have the opportunity to take part in a University Taster Day to give them an insight into university life through attending lectures, exploring the university campus, and meeting with student ambassadors.
Sixth Form
With the large Sixth Form they are very proud to be able to offer a huge variety of subject choices; from Chemistry to Classical Civilisation, and from English to Economics, with most subjects in between!At Gravesend Grammar School, we are very fortunate to have teachers who are experts in their subject areas and passionate about what they teach. The teachers will inspire and motivate you throughout the duration of your course. Sixth Form teaching is innovative and creative. We aim to help all our students achieve the highest level of success of which they are capable. We have study areas and computer facilities dedicated for Sixth Form use. There are many opportunities for enrichment and activities outside normal lessons to deepen subject understanding.

As a Department we pride ourselves on the opportunities that we offer our students. We play competitive sport in rugby union, basketball, cricket, hockey, athletics, badminton, football, swimming, golf and frisbee.
