Holton Sleaford Independent School (HSIS) will deliver a unique and bespoke Outdoor Education based curriculum to predominantly Key Stage 4 and 5 pupils with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). The main premises for the school are in the heart of the small market town of Sleaford. The school will offer provision for a mixed gender intake of up to 16 pupils in the 14-19 age range.
The Holton experience will aim to provide pupils with the skills and confidence needed to play a full and active part in society at the conclusion of their education. Learning to learn through Outdoor Education will help pupils build key relationships with highly experienced SEMH staff and enable those pupils to progress towards their own personal academic and social goals.
Providing opportunities and experiences to better prepare pupils for life after school. Outdoor and Physical Education will be the foundation of curriculum.
Holton Sleaford Independent School will cover pupils core future needs through the delivery of small-group, high staff ratio classroom teaching of English, Maths and PSHE all of which will follow a pathway toward appropriate accreditations.
