LVS Hassocks is an autism specific school, offering day placements to young people with autism aged 11-19. With a structured educational environment and an approach that focuses on developing young people’s independence and confidence, whilst equipping them with the functional skills needed for employment and dealing with everyday life, students diagnosed with autism and other special needs will really progress.
Facilities
At LVS Hassocks, students learn a range of academic and vocational skills in a vibrant and stimulating environment.
The school is located on a converted priory, providing an education set within a tranquil and relaxing 36 acre campus.
The students are taught in modern classrooms, including a dedicated food-technology lab, IT suite and creative art room. Other facilities include areas for practical learning and health-related activities, including a sports field and the school garden.
A MUGA (Multi-Use Games Area) provides a safe, all-weather outside space for students to play basketball and other sports.
The Oast House and library are unique features of the school, providing places for music lessons, relaxation, meeting and celebration.
