St Paul's RC College, Burgess Hill is a State Secondary school for kids aged 11 to 18 (Gender - Mix )
St Paul's Catholic College is a unique and exceptional Catholic school that provides the right environment where every student can flourish and succeed. The mission is simple; that each student can achieve their potential and make the most of their God-given gifts and talents in their time with us.Our young people will have excellent opportunities to grow academically, personally and in their faith. They can offer the perfect combination of academic achievement and the support of a vibrant faith community. They look to support and challenge students so that they flourish in a culture of success which sets them in the right direction in life. They consistently achieve results at GCSE, BTEC and A level in the top 10% or above nationally.
Curriculum
To achieve this they have to continue to be determined to develop, grow and change. Currently at St Paul’s the results place us consistently within the top ten percent of schools nationally, our aim in the improvement plan is to get into the top five percent.Students don’t get a second chance in education. This means that they have to cherish every lesson as an opportunity to learn, equally they need to invest in high quality teaching, research and development to nourish and develop outstanding learning and teaching in all they do.The curriculum has been designed and developed to challenge, support and inspire students to achieve their God-given potential in all areas of their time at St Paul’s. In each curriculum area this is planned, implemented and evaluated carefully to ensure a broad and balanced experience of learning and development.
E Learning
In 2004, we established the St Paul’s E-Learning Foundation to help us achieve our vision, that every child at St Paul’s should share the benefits of e-learning with the use of a digital mobile device at College and home.We invite all parents to make a regular monthly donation and as a registered charity we can buy the digital devices they need. As a registered charity, we’re able to claim Gift Aid from the Inland Revenue. If enough donations are received, when combined with the Gift Aid, we should be able to provide devices for all students in each year group to use at College and at home.
