Pershore High School is a State Secondary School for kids aged 11 to 19 (Gender - Mixed)
The strapline ‘Proud of our history, confident in our future’ reflects the school’s position at the heart of the community of Pershore. The school opened in 1932 and has a proud history but they continue to develop to ensure that they offer a broad and balanced curriculum and a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities to all the students preparing them for life as adults in the 21st Century. They promote an inclusive, safe and secure environment; celebrating diversity. They work together with mutual respect and kindness. Curriculum
The curriculum is designed to offer a broad and balanced experience for all students and aims to develop confident, independent, responsible and successful individuals. At Pershore we largely follow the revised National Curriculum and in doing so promote the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of our students. The timetable is composed of 25 one hour lessons per week organised into a two week timetable. There are five lessons per day with four in the morning and one in the afternoon. Each day starts with a 10 minute registration period and after lunch there is a 20 minute session for tutor activities and assemblies.
