Pocklington Prep School ages 7 - 11: Pre-Prep pupils automatically progress to Year 3. The assessments use a mixture of online and paper assessments in English and Maths. The assessment is usually held on a Saturday morning in January: beyond this date, if places are still available, parents can arrange individual assessment days through the school office.
Registration simply signals to the schools admissions office that you wish to proceed with arrangements for entry, including the entrance assessment, and guarantees that you will automatically be contacted at the appropriate time with details of the entrance assessments and other entry arrangements along with information about the school that may be of interest, including Open Mornings and Events. Offers of places are generally made as soon as the entrance assessment results are known. Offers are normally time sensitive and should be accepted by the deadline in the offer letter. On acceptance of an offer parents must complete and return the parent/school agreement a copy of which will be sent to you.
