Music at Prior’s Field Throughout the school year, specialist music teachers offer a full range of musical activities, workshops, master classes and trips to concerts and shows. Ensembles Choirs, string ensemble, concert band, jazz band, flute ensemble, brass ensemble, regular rock and pop workshops, saxophone ensemble, production club, theory and aural test practices.
The opportunities provided are as diverse as the ambitions of our girls. Just about every interest and talent is catered for through an impressive range of over 40 termly clubs and enrichment activities.
Activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award, World Challenge and Young Enterprise are a perfect way to develop resourcefulness and acquire leadership skills which can be transferred to the classroom. From their own local frequency radio station to rock climbing, yoga, silversmithing, Mandarin and debating, there really is something for everyone.
Girls are encouraged to get involved and experience the fun and commitment involved in being part of a team. Competition and personal achievement are developed through a wide range of activities. From hockey, netball, tennis, gymnastics and riding, to basketball, rugby, football and athletics, every enthusiasm and level of ability can be met.
