LITTLE GRIFFINS NURSERY
Welcome to Little Griffins Nursery, a nurturing, fun and stimulating environment where children can begin the exciting adventure of learning from the day they turn 3 years old!If your child is ready for something more exciting and fulfilling than childcare, Little Griffins is the ideal next step. Every day here offers new discoveries to explore, new experiences to try, new skills to learn and new friends to make. We encourage curiosity and independence, build confidence and set children off on the right road to effective lifelong learning, with lots and lots of fun and enjoyment built in.

PRE-PREP
For our Pre-Prep children in Reception, Years 1 and 2, our focus is on tapping into their natural energy and curiosity that 4-6 year olds have.Moving from EYFS to Pre-Prep we start to focus on the skills needed to become independent learners within a curriculum that is relevant, engaging and develops a rich social, cultural and global understanding.Children learn best when they are happy and interested, so education in Pre-Prep is fun, exciting and filled with interesting opportunities.

PREP
By the time our pupils move up into the Prep school, they are ready for a more challenging  style of education. They continue to feed their enthusiasm, maintaining a balance of formal learning and active participation. The Prep school follows an exciting, broad and balanced curriculum, with specialist teachers providing expert tuition. There is ample provision of extra-curricular clubs to complement the core academic subjects. The school has a strong emphasis on STEAMED events (Science, Technology, Entrepreneurship, Art, Maths, Engineering, Design), and enrichment programmes involving the whole school are regularly factored into the curriculum.

Clubs
St Edward’s offers flexible wrap-around care all year, allowing busy parents to drop off their children as early as 7.45am, and pick up as late as 5.50pm. You can arrange to do this daily, for a set number of days a week, or just on an ad hoc basis as the need arises. There are all sorts of fun and interesting things for the pupils to do after school, as well as the opportunity to finish their prep before they go home.

After School Care and Activities
After school, children can take part in a range of clubs and activities, enjoying games such as Chess and Warhammer or learning new skills including Fencing, Cooking and Street Dance.
