Pre-School
The Pre-school children participate fully in all aspects of school life and are introduced to the Park Hill experience in a spacious, warm and inspiring environment, nurtured by a team of very experienced and well qualified Early Years staff.From the beginning of their time with us, children flourish in the care of the dedicated staff. The children are encouraged to practise the school values, and develop a positive attitude to learning in the beautiful Pre-school provision.The outdoor provision is fantastic and they make the most of our extensive school grounds where the pupils play, explore, discover, learn and blossom!
Infants
The Infant Department is made up of the Reception class, Year 1 and Year 2. Our staff are highly qualified, extremely skilled and enthusiastic. They are assisted by excellent support staff who all contribute to a happy, dynamic, thriving department.Small class sizes ensure that staff know the children really well. The children are confident and happy and form excellent relationships with the staff and with each other.
Juniors
The Junior Department is made up of Years 3, 4 5 and 6. Highly qualified, enthusiastic and committed teaching staff and support staff ensure that each child is challenged and motivated to do their best in all aspects of school. They encourage excellence in academic, sporting, creative and personal attainment. Good manners, a positive attitude and traditional values are taught and nurtured and attainment is high compared to schools in the maintained sector.

Dance
All the pupils benefit from expert dance teaching by Mrs Jessica Porter of Sanderson's School of Dance and through our dance curriculum, they aim to foster creativity, physicality, imagination and a real enjoyment of the freedom that moving to music brings.
Drama
The curriculum offers lots of opportunities for children to develop their many talents. At St Joseph’s Park Hill we excel in Performing Arts. Children have the opportunity to perform in Assemblies and whole school productions. All pupils from Reception to Year 6 receive a discreet, specialist - led drama lesson each week delivered by Mrs Leanne Wharf from Act One Beginners.
Art
At Park Hill, we aim to engage, inspire and challenge pupils with our Art curriculum. They will gain the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create their own works of art, craft and design. Art is a fantastic way for all children of all ages to express themselves, be creative and to explore.
