Description

The Danesfield Manor School is Independent Primary school in Surrey for kids aged 2 to 11 (Gender - Mixed )

Sited in and around a Victorian house in Walton on Thames, Surrey, the school promotes traditional values in support of a complete education. It combines small class sizes and individual attention with a teaching approach that motivates children to be excited about learning. Our children obtain places at some of the best independent schools in the area, we work with parents to find the right place for each child. They believe in the value of differentiated learning and the development of the whole child. We work with children to help them realise their potential. If a child proves to be a very high achiever academically or shows a particular talent in sport, art or music they will be encouraged to apply for a scholarship when applying to senior school.  We are very proud of our children who have been offered Academic, Sport and Art Scholarships in recent years.

Early Years
In the Early Years Centre they aim to give each child the best possible start in life. We strive to encourage each child to meet his or her individual potential, providing a firm foundation for future success. The Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework sets standards to enable early years providers to reflect the rich and personalised experience that many parents give their children at home. Like parents, the staff deliver individualised learning and care that enhances the development of the children in their care and gives those children the best possible start in life.

Prep
During KS1 - Lower Phase years, they ensure that children are equipped with the tools and confidence to achieve in all areas of school life. We understand it’s important to have fun whilst learning – ensuring there is a strong emphasis on early development of basic skills in reading, writing and maths.Building on the solid foundations set in Lower Phase (KS1), Upper Phase (KS2) focuses on developing the eagerness to learn and encourages a spirit of independence. In these years, our aim is to help produce confident and well-rounded individuals, whilst ensuring them the best possible education.
