The National Mathematics and Science College is Independent Secondary school in Selective for kids aged 15 to 19 (Gender - 15 to 19). The National Mathematics and Science College is unique in providing a specialist STEM education to academically outstanding students from around the world as part of a small and caring community of likeminded people.
MISSION: To educate young people in an international context, who are capable of achieving A grades at A-level and who wish to secure places in the world’s top universities; and who will become future leaders of their communities, business, and academic research.
AIM: To provide all students with the opportunity to pursue their mathematical and scientific potential within a community of likeminded individuals who together form a caring and supportive community.
CLUBS & SOCIETIES: NatMatSci runs a range of Clubs and Societies designed to support the enjoyment and development of all our students. Some are run by staff, others by students, and the range of offerings changes from year to year depending on demand. Below are examples of some societies that have run recently:
SPORTS: There are plenty of sporting opportunities available at the College, whether in the form of clubs, societies or trips. Students are encouraged to create their own sporting Clubs and Societies to pursue additional sports or even to try something new. Examples have included:
Students can also join local sports teams as part of their immersion experience, and we’ll help you find a relevant team. We can also arrange for individual sports coaching, for an additional fee.
OTHER SPORTS OPPORTUNITIES: Students have use of the Xcel Leisure Centre which is just a few minutes walk from the College, and has an extensive gym, swimming pool, sports halls, and outdoor pitches for a variety of sports.
MUSIC & ART: Music is a popular pastime at the College. They have a Steinway grand piano in our reception area for both students and staff to play at their leisure. There are also guitars in the common room, for students to use in their free time. The College Choir is an integral part of Enrichment Programme, with rehearsals taking place every week culminating in performances each term. They also offer individual music tuition for a range of instruments and abilities, ranging from beginner to concert level, for which they can arrange individual music tuition on a range of instruments. Please note this is not included in the fees and must be paid for separately.
VISUAL ARTS: Each year students participate in NatMatSci art showcase, previous winners have demonstrated considerable talent from photography and portraits to anime and collage.
BOARDING FEES FOR 2022/23:
Combined Boarding & Tuition Fee £13,999 per term for both the A-Level and Pre-A-Level programmes.
These are divided into a Tuition Fee of £4,500 per term and a Boarding Fee of £9,499 per term.
This equates to a total fee of £41,997 per year inclusive of boarding and tuition.
WEEKLY BOARDING FEES FOR 2022/23:
Combined Boarding & Tuition Fee £12,000 per term for both the A-Level and Pre-A-Level programmes.
These are divided into a Tuition Fee of £4,500 per term and a Boarding Fee of £7,500 per term.
This equates to a total fee of £36,000 per year inclusive of boarding and tuition.
DAY FEES FOR 2022/23:
Day Fee £4,500 per term for both the A-Level and Pre-A-Level programmes.
This equates to a total fee of £13,500 per year.
