The Shrubbery School Ltd is Independent Primary school in Birmingham for kids aged 3 to 11 (Gender - Mixed )

The Shrubbery School is the oldest co-educational independent school in Sutton Coldfield. They believe children learn best when they feel happy at school, the well-being of our pupils is of paramount importance.  Small class sizes and a family environment mean our pupils are nurtured and feel confident in everything they do. Our education incorporates values, ethics, emotional maturity and a sense of responsibility so our pupils have the confidence to take their place in life. We have one aim, to give each pupil an education which enables them to flourish so that they leave us confident and excited about the future.

They aim to provide a first-class education, striving for excellence in all academic and extra curricular activities, giving every child the confidence they need to discover where their gifts lie. Our children’s physical and mental wellbeing is at the core of everything we do. I feel an enormous sense of privilege in having the opportunity to lead The Shrubbery, and our children, into the future, and as our children tell us, the future is an incredibly exciting place to be!”

Things to note

After School Clubs 
A good education is a broad one. Excellent knowledge of academic subjects is complimented by an appreciation of the arts subjects and an enjoyment of sports.  At The Shrubbery our pupils can also discover enjoyment in a wide range of after school clubs.

Shrubs Club
Shrubs Club is our after school care service for pupils, sessions run until 5:45pm each day and can be booked in advance via School Money.
