Watchorn Christian School is Independent Primary school in Derbyshire for kids aged 3 to 11 (Gender - Mixed )

At Watchorn Christian Nursery School, it is thhe mission to educate children from a Biblical perspective, teaching them to love the Lord their God with all their heart, soul and strength (Matthew 22:37) whilst enabling them to achieve all the plans that God has for them in order to impact the wider World.Watchorn Christian School was opened in 2018 as an independent school that offers education to children aged from Nursery to Year 6 (age 3-11). The school accommodates up to 45 pupils at one time, during the academic year 2021/22 there is half that amount enrolled. The school doesn’t have a local catchment area and can take pupils from fee paying families from across both Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire counties.
 

Facilities

Nursery 
The experienced staff at Watchorn Christian Nursery work hard to create a warm, caring and nurturing environment for the children to learn at their own pace through exciting play activities. The nursery, due to its small class size, allows the staff to really get to know each child, creating a feeling of ‘family’.The nursery is open 8.50-12.00 midday (for 38 weeks of the year) however there may be options available to stay until 3.00pm.  The Nursery supports the 15 hours and 30 hours early years funding provisions for 3 and 4 year olds.

Outdoor Play
At Watchorn Christian School they really value the outdoors as a medium for learning and play. It is important for children to interact with the World that God has created and to experience nature, the seasons and our wonderful weather. We also recognise that interacting with the outdoors fosters skills in imaginative play, physical development and communication.

Child one in attendance at the infant School £2,400 per academic year
Second child in attendance £1,600 per academic year
Third child £1,000 per academic year
Fourth child – free from charge
Fees must be paid termly in advance
