Wingham Wildlife Park is a popular family attraction in Kent, offering the largest variety of animal and bird species of any wildlife park or zoo in the county. Visitors can explore a wide range of wildlife from monkeys and tigers to red pandas and penguins. The park is open year-round and designed for people of all ages to enjoy animals, education, and fun.

Highlights include the largest animatronic dinosaur park in Kent, a 3,300-square-foot indoor soft play area, and outdoor play zones including accessible playgrounds. Families can also enjoy the 18-hole mini golf course, bug gardens, a Natural History Museum, animal talks, feeding stations, and go-kart rides. Online tickets cost £20.00 for adults, £17.00 for children (2–15), £18.00 for seniors and students, and entry is free for under 2s. On-the-door prices are slightly higher.

Animals & Wildlife

  • The Animals: At Wingham Wildlife Park, visitors have the chance to see hundreds of animals from all over the globe. From the playful lemurs to majestic tigers, there are always plenty of exciting animals for visitors of all ages to enjoy. It  hosts the largest number of animal and bird species out of any of the Kent wildlife parks and zoos.
  • Dinosaur Zoo: Wingham Wildlife Park is home to the largest animatronic dinosaur park in Kent! From T-Rex to Velociraptor and Spinosaurus to Stegosaurus we are home to all your favourite prehistoric creatures! This area offers fun and facts for all ages and is a great way to help little ones understand tricky topics like evolution and extinction too.
  • Animal Talks and Feeds: Host of talks with several of our most popular animals for FREE throughout the day. These are a great way to learn about our animals, their cousins in the wild and how you can help from the people know our animals the best, their keepers! It’s the perfect excuse to learn from our experts and to ask any questions you may have.
  • Feeding Stations: Whilst you are at the park there are opportunities to purchase food to feed to the animals yourself too. There are feeding stations around the park for animals such as our fish and goats and you can purchase food for our meerkats in reception as you enter the park too.

Play Areas & Activities

  • Indoor Soft Play: They are home to the Lion’s Den Indoor Soft Play area. This large area contains over 3,300 square feet of soft play fun set over 3 levels. It is also made up of 3 distinct zones. This area is ideal, whatever the weather and absolutely jam-packed with fun! On those (very British) wet and windy days this is a great way to really get the kids moving as they climb, slide, crawl and jump around this modern play area.
  • Outside Play Areas: Outside play area includes the exciting Clamber Castle, swings and accessible playground equipment for children with disabilities- perfect for all our little adventurers and a great way for them to burn off some excess energy too!
  • Mini Golf: brand new 18-hole mini golf course. This is great fun for all ages and we have putters available for different heights. So, whether you are looking for some light-hearted family fun or if you are after a more competitive atmosphere, you’re sure to have the best time on our mini golf course.
  • Museum: The Natural History Museum houses a variety of interesting items- great for learning more about the natural world and the threats it faces. Wingham Wildlife Park’s Museum provides the opportunity to explore our interesting collection of fossils including a mammoth tooth, plant fossils and extinct fish and reptile fossils to name but a few.
  • Bug Gardens: Our Bug gardens are another new area and one that we are very excited and proud about. Split into two areas there is both an indoor and outdoor section.
  • Go-Karts: Go-karts are located near our indoor play area and are another very popular addition to the park for families with young children. Take to our track with your little ones for just £1.50 and see how many laps you can do!

  • Park is on the left, less than half a mile after the village of Wingham. At the top of Pedding Hill stay on the A257, as the car park entrance is at the bottom of the Pedding Hill dip.
