Paint Your Own Pottery: Visit our Paint Your Own Pottery studio and select from a wide variety of shapes ranging from functional items such as mugs, bowls, plates and teapots to fun figurines, money banks or cute animals. Simply think of a design and get creating! Once finished, your masterpiece will be glazed and fired on site in our creative studio. Items will be ready to be collect 7-10 days from the day of painting.
Print Capturing: Whether its your child or a pet, their prints captured onto ceramics are a truly personalised way for you to capture a moment in time. The perfect keepsake for yourselves or a unique gift to commemorate Mother’s Day, Easter, Father’s Day, Halloween, Christenings and Christmas! Family members and friends will love your ceramic gifts to them and treasure them forever.
Canny Castings: Canny Castings capture a hand, foot or paw in an Outprint! We create a raised cast impression by taking a soft clay print from your little one or fur-baby. Using fine casting powder, the cast is finished and decorated to a high standard by us. Outprints come with a black background as standard then you choose whether the print is finished in either gold or silver.
Friday Night Late Night (Adult): If you want to have a night out with a difference, catch up with a group of friends in a relaxing, creative and child-free space or looking for an alternative date night then this is the event for you. Choose a pot to paint from the wide variety of dinnerware, figurines and seasonal items we have. You will be guided through the paint your own pottery process by a member of the team who will also provide you with helpful creative tips along the way if needed!

Parking: Parking can be found on neighbouring streets subject to permit restrictions. There is also a pay and display car park at the bottom of Salters Road a short walk from the shop.
Food & Drinks: You’re welcome to bring your own refreshments or pop to The Gosforth Traders next door to us for a takeaway.

Birthday Party Pottery Packages

A Canny Crafty Party is the perfect way to celebrate your child’s special day (suitable for children aged 6 and upwards). They will enjoy time painting with their friends and have a truly unique hand-painted item as a souvenir of their day. You have the fun, we clean up the mess!
The children will be guided through the process of creating their own masterpiece, explaining how the materials work and providing bundles of tips and tricks.
The party package is £250 for a min of 12 children (additional children are charged at £16 each), lasting between 60 and 90 minutes including exclusive use of the venue and a keepsake birthday plate for the birthday child.
