Description

Founded over 450 years ago, Highgate is one of the UK’s leading co-educational independent schools. A mainstream independent school for pupils aged from 3 to 11 with a linked senior school.

Facilities

At the Mallinson, we welcome members of the public and our Highgate community to come and enjoy our sports facilities which include a comprehensive gym, swimming pool and lots of outdoor sports courts when they aren’t being used by pupils. Our cricket nets, astroturf and pool are also available for hire either as private coaching facilities or for parties and events.

Things to note

Highgate offers three schools in one:

Our Pre-Preparatory School is for pupils aged 4-7 (Reception, Years 1 and 2). We have around 180 pupils based at our Bishopswood Road building, overlooking our sports grounds.

Our Junior School is for pupils aged 7-11 (Years 3 to 6). We have around 400 pupils based in our building on Bishopswood Road.

Our Senior School is for pupils aged 11-18 (Years 7 to 13). We have over 1,220 pupils and most teaching takes place on our North Road site, in the heart of Highgate village. Pupils also have lessons in art, design, engineering and technology in our Mills Centre, on Bishopswood Road.

Senior School	Years 7-13:	£8,505 per term
Junior School	Years 3-6:	£7,800 per term
Pre-Preparatory School	Full time (Reception to Year 2):	£7,365 per term

The above figures are inclusive of lunch, the use of books, stationery, future life membership of the Cholmeleian Society, compulsory field work and day visits which take place in curricular time.
