Nursery
Open 51 weeks of the year, Park School Nursery in Bournemouth, offers full day care and early years education for children aged 2-4. We are an active and busy Nursery with free-flow activities through a variety of spaces indoors and our newly refurbished gardens for every age group to have access to the outdoors.
Curriculum and learning
At Park School, Bournemouth they aim to provide opportunities for the development of the whole child inside and outside the classroom. In addition to the full range of academic subjects in accordance with the National Curriculum, we offer every child the opportunity to experience a broad range of teaching and challenging environments in many extra-curricular areas. We operate a varied curriculum which ties together elements of many different subjects under a theme, encouraging children to develop a love of learning and a thirst for knowledge. This varied curriculum, with teaching input from music, art, drama and sports specialists, allows all the children the opportunity to shine. Positivity in these areas creates a balanced scope of learning and supports progression in the rest of the curriculum.

Sports Facilities
At Park School we are lucky to have a dedicated Sports facility at Dean Park, a beautiful 6.5 acre sports ground situated in the centre of Bournemouth. A few minutes’ drive from the main site, our pupils are transported there for Games lessons and competitive fixtures in the school’s fleet of minibuses. In the past academic year alone, over 800 children have competed at Dean Park in sports ranging from Tri Golf to Athletics and rounders, netball, football and rugby. We have also installed a series of all-weather training pitches to enable Games and fixtures to be held all year round, regardless of weather conditions.
