Prep School Curriculum
They aim for the very best education for all our girls whatever their ability. The curriculum is based upon getting the very best learning opportunities for all; something that they succeed in by making the teaching exciting and engaging. Classes are small which enables us to ensure that the work set is both stretching for the pupil but achievable. In the Primary Years (3-6) we focus on Key Stage 2 work with English, Maths, Science, History, and Geography covered by specialist Primary teachers. Sports, PSHE, ICT, Textiles, Spanish, Art, Music and Drama are taken by members of the senior teaching staff, bringing specialism to their subject that the girls really benefit from.As the pupils move into the Key Stage 3 area of education, they will have the full remit of lessons. Small class sizes are maintained, but they will also benefit from already knowing a number of the teaching staff and the classrooms they will be in taught in. The full remit of lessons will be provided plus some additional
