Bexton Primary School and Nursery is a state primary school for kids age 2 - 11 (Gender - Mixed)

At Bexton, they firmly believe that children should enjoy their learning and their imagination and interests should be captured through authentic and meaningful experiences. They ensure the children feel safe and valued as part of the school community and they continuously strive to raise standards and provide the very best education for all of the children. They have an incredibly strong team of teachers and support staff who care and support all children and they are proud of the partnerships we have developed with parents and extended families in the community to support our children to achieve their very best.

Facilities

Authentic Curriculum
Children with special educational needs are fully included in our authentic curriculum. They ensure that our teaching methods and inclusive and meet the needs of all children. Part of the curriculum is delivered through our Ethical Enterprise initiative. Three charities are chosen each year for the school to support through fundraising and for the children to learn about the work that they do.  The charities reflect local, national and global concerns and are carefully chosen in consultation with children and staff.Ofsted visited in Febuary 2018 and they said ‘Leaders and staff have planned the curriculum thoroughly. Known by all as the ‘Ethical Enterprise’ curriculum, subjects inspire pupils and offer them rich learning experiences that enhance academic progress as well as promoting personal development extremely well.’

Things to note

Extra Curricular Clubs
The club may be cancelled at short notice due to the weather and children will need to be collected at the normal end of school time. All clubs run by the school will be available for booking and payment through your SCOPAY account from 8am on Wednesday 3rd November at 2pm. The clubs for which your child is eligible will appear as an option on your account, add them to the basket and then pay for the club, and this will book your place.
