Collingham is an independent, co-educational GCSE and Sixth Form college. They are non-selective and mixed-ability, and can offer bespoke, tailored courses.

Things to note
Art and Art History groups regularly visit galleries, keeping up to date with current exhibitions. Politics groups visit the Houses of Parliament and Law groups the Law Courts. Media Studies students are taken to television recording studios, English and Theatre Studies groups visit the theatre. Modern Languages students benefit from the nearby French Institute and Goethe Institute.
Outside London, Geography and Biology students go on field trips, for example to Epping Forest and the Isle of Wight. The Art History and Modern Languages departments also regularly organise study trips abroad, for example to Paris, Amsterdam and Florence.
Many departments organise cinema and theatre visits. At the end of the academic year, Activities Week provides a range of opportunities for students to take part in enjoyable learning activities such as a charity walk, the production of a magazine, Art and Drama Workshops and work experience.
All prospective students are interviewed by the Principal or the Director of Studies, which includes a full discussion about course selection (these interviews can now take place online).
Admission for A-Level & GCSE courses are based upon assessment at interview, previous examination results and school record. Year 9 admission will take into account a prospective students level of academic attainment, as presented in the school report, in place of previous examination results.
